Where did God come from?
Question: Where did God come from? How could He have no beginning?
Answer: God has always existed, which is beyond our ability to comprehend. My dog can't comprehend how my car works, but his failure to understand doesn't nullify the fact that my car can be driven down the road.
Think about where the universe ends. Have you got that point fixed in your mind? Now that you have found it, what is behind the end of the universe? Our minds tell us there must be an end, but if there is an end then something must be behind it. Mind-boggling, isn't it? Our finite minds are limited in our understanding. Yet the universe was created to teach us some things about God-like His eternal power (Rom. 1:20).
The secret things belong to the Lord, but the things He has revealed belong to us (Deut. 29:29). The fact that God had no beginning is one of those secret things that we can't comprehend right now, but one day we will understand when we see Jesus face to face (1 Cor. 13:12).
